William Carey University has an opening for a Food Service Director. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys ensuring that college students have a fun environment to enjoy great food!  The Food Service Director is responsible for all aspects of running the operation including overseeing the menu planning, food production and special events.

If hospitality is in your DNA and you have culinary experience as a chef, or have worked as a manager, general Manager, or director in the food service industry, this could be the job for you!  The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, have strong leadership skills, initiate action, and drive the creative process. Experience with purchasing, food production, and P & L management is required. Must be able to manage a staff that functions in a friendly and efficient manner, and you must have a passion for providing a high level of service.
